By accepting the PyroSMS Privacy Policy and/or using the Services You consent to the collection, use and processing of personal information as described herein. Our services do not require you to provide us with personal information about someone else. Make sure you use your details but also note that you may opt-out at any time to prevent further use of the information.This is either on the app or at the SMS web portal where you control your account details.

Also note that, the information you give us in creating account and sending sms is not shared to anyone else. its all encripted and stored in our server and only you can view it when you login at the SMS web portal using the credentials you created

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED

a) USER PROFILE OR COMPAMY ACCOUNT

When You create a user profile in the App and confirm being the owner of a that company or individual name you want to use to access our bulk sms platform, PyroSMS will collect the information provided by You. In order to create a user or company profile, You must register the following infomation.

  1. Your Company name
  2. Your Full name
  3. Gender
  4. Email Adress
  5. Phone number

  6. Your photo/ Image: This is very optional, you can choose to click the skip button to proceed without the image. At the profile page you have the option to attach if you need it in future

b) INSTALLATION AND USE

When You install and use the App, PyroSMS may also collect additional information like DeviceID or imei number, location ,usage Logs when you login. This is to help us to support you better and also protect your data since your data is tied to your deviceID in our server.

Note that the application is only used for sending sms from the online portal. dont use to communicate sensitive infomation.

c) API INTEGRATION SERVICES

Our service api for integration with 3rd party software only requires you to provide us with Partiner ID and Apikey generated from our main system, the only information we collect using the api service is the SMS and at the online portal the users has the right to clear past sms that are stored in our online portal.

d) CONTACT INFORMATION

When you install our application the app may requests for permissions to read your contacts contained in your address book (“Contact Information”).Our APP load the contacts to the the local database. The data collected form the phone book include Phone number and names only

The app loads those contacts to the app for the following purpose

e) UPLOAD OF CONTACTS ONLINE

These contacts loaded at the app and the SMS groups created can be uploaded the the online SMS portal for functionality purpose.

The purpose for online portal is to have a interface you can use if you have on your computer or laptop

This is at users concent and incase you want to delete online account, all your phone numbers and sms groups will be deleted if you need it again you have to upload again

This information is not shared to any other parties and users has full control over their data online. you can delete anytime to stop your data from being used.

f) SMS INFORMATION

The core function of this app is to send SMS using your registered senderID online.The service sends SMS via inbuild api only and therefore the app does not read personal SMS.

2. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

a) PROVIDE, IMPROVE AND PERSONALIZE OUR SERVICES

PyroSMS may use the personal information collected to provide, maintain, improve, analyze and personalize the Services to its Users and third party providers. More specifically, PyroSMS may use such information to:

  1. Create UniqueID for every phone number to make sure users cant send duplicated SMS and aso know which numbers has not yet received.
  2. Display the numbers associated with a certain name following a manual name search against the our database, This is to help in assigning the number to grouping users have created.
  3. Send SMS Via SenderID Services to the selected contact. sending via phone number has been deactivated
  4. The app does not access any that is not to be sent through the online portal.
  5. Send in application push notifications and reminders.
  6. We have included a simple accounting modules to recode Expenses and savings to be able to generate reports budget properly. To decide what expenditure to cut and what to increase. this information is not shared to anyone and is not collected without users consent
  7. The primary mode of payment to buying SMS is through Mpesa. The app may requrest you to input mpesa number and pop up for mpesa pin will follow at the phone containing the phone mumber, this information is not stored anywhere in our system. this payments part is purely facilitated by safaricom and the service is very secure and transparent. The stk Push will show the user how much is deducted and where is sent to. a confirmation sms is sent to the user from PyroSMS and aso from safaricom.

b) STATISTICAL DATA FROM THE SERVICES

We May use personal information for statistical and analytical purposes. This informations include the frequency of app usage. we may come to using the same information to reward royalty based on how may sms send within a certain period of time.

c) PERSONALIZE OUR ADVERTISING AND COMMUNICATIONS

Our application has no Ads and therefore the information you provide is purely for the functionality and not adverting. The only advertisement that may arise with when users decide to share the information about their services via SMS, which is the primary reason for the service. The SMS for promotional purposes will be sent with opt-out mechanism

We may use the collected information to comply with applicable laws and to enforce our agreements and protect and defend the rights or safety of PyroSMS.

4. DELISTING OF CONTACT INFORMATION

If a User chooses to close account or delete data from the online portal, All the data is totally deleted. If user want to use our service later,they will have to create the account afresh

5. ACCESSING AND UPDATING PERSONAL INFORMATION

PyroSMS provides options to update personal information that includes phone mumbers and email adresses on both APP and online portal. Whichever the platform you use. that data will will syncronized.

PyroSMS may at any time with or without a separate notice change this Privacy Policy, and You are encouraged to review this Policy from time to time. In case of substantial changes, PyroSMS will notify the Users by push notice or via notice in the Services. Your continued use of the Services after a notice of changes has been communicated to You or published on our Services shall constitute consent to the changed policy.
